Congrès de la culture française

The Congrès was created with the goal of motivating students to learn French language and culture. Students and teachers prepared themselves during months in order to be ready for various contests offered during the Congrès: impromptu speeches, poetry recitation, skits, quiz games or theatre plays.

Students and teachers had to use advanced language skills and bundles of enthusiasm to face the amicable but professionally-minded judges. All high school students learning French could be part of this contest. Each year, more than 900 American and international students from 40 different schools all over Florida attend the  the Congrès de la culture française held annually in Orlando, Florida.

Congratulations to our two French award winners, Juan Serna and Jett Morgan, who respectively won a grant from the Alliance française Bonita Springs and a trip to the famous theatre festival, Le Festival d'Avignon, offered by the French Embassy Cultural Services with the support of several Alliance Française and Interaudi Bank.
